THE JOURNEY OF SCIMA:

A STORY OF RESTORATION

AND PURPOSE

In the beginning, SCIM (Shechem Cares International Ministries) pioneered a school known as SCIA – Shechem Cares International Academy. Over the years, the school thrived, producing eight successful graduating batches. The vision was alive, the passion was evident, and the mission was being fulfilled.

However, a great storm came upon the ministry. A series of unexpected and unnoticed events shook the foundation. Leadership challenges arose, and sadly, those who were once leading SCIA stepped away. The academy was left without guidance, and the ministry paused its educational mission.

But God is a God of restoration!

In His perfect time, He used Apostle Rodel Sabino, who, burdened with the desire to see the school rise again, began searching for a new steward to lead the vision forward. By divine appointment, he met Rev. Dr. Judy D. Solidum, and from there, a new team was formed—committed, passionate, and God-fearing.

Thus, SCIA was rebirthed as SCIMA – Shechem Cares International Ministries Academy.

This is more than a name change—it is a renewed mission, a revived calling, and a fresh anointing to continue the work of equipping lives for the glory of God. SCIMA now has a strong core of leaders and educators who have dedicated themselves to this vision.

On July 3, 2025, SCIMA officially began its online classes, marking a new chapter in this God-given journey. This milestone is not just the start of another academic year—it is a testimony of God’s faithfulness, healing, and restoration.

To all students, faculty, and partners of SCIMA: You are part of something extraordinary. This academy was birthed in prayer, shaped by trials, and revived by divine purpose. May each class, each lesson, and each relationship you build here bring you closer to God’s calling in your life. Let’s grow together not just in knowledge—but in wisdom, character, and Christlike love.

To our leaders and teachers: Your labor is not in vain. You are raising up Kingdom warriors, godly leaders, and change-makers for this generation and the next. Keep the fire burning!
